The Hudson River Museum invites you to explore This Gallery Is a Poem: Unearthing Stories from the Collection, a unique exhibition that intertwines visual art and poetry. Curated in collaboration with Westchester County Poet Laureate Phylisha Villanueva, this exhibit features artworks from the museum’s collection paired with original poems by fourteen local poets, including Villanueva herself. The exhibition delves into themes of nature, memory, and growth, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with art through the lens of ekphrastic poetry—a form that draws inspiration from visual art.
